Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

Arcvideo Corporation  (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides digital services including AI image and text generation, online audio/video editing, AI video generation, AI design tools, and AI color tools (collectively, the “Services”). This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for purchases made directly through our website or applications. By purchasing any product or subscription from us, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Our Services are primarily offered as digitally delivered subscriptions, credit packs, or one-time purchases for digital content. Due to the immediate access and consumption nature of digital services—particularly AI generation which consumes computational resources instantly—all sales are generally considered final and non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in this policy or as required by applicable law.

Purchases made through third-party platforms(e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Microsoft Store, Amazon, authorized resellers, individual sellers) are subject to the refund policies of those platforms. Please contact the respective platform or seller directly for refund requests. For your convenience, you can find links to their refund policies here:Apple Support, Google Play Support.

Governing Law: This Refund Policy is governed by the same choice of law provisions as our Terms of Service (Section 1.2), based on your primary residence. Disputes regarding refunds shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in Section 12 of the Terms of Service.

2. FREE TRIALS AND SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT

2.1 Free Trials

a. If you subscribe to a Service with a free trial, you may cancel at any time during the trial period to avoid being charged. Paid trial subscription service is non-refundable, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.

b. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription. No refunds will be issued for charges incurred after the trial period.

2.2 Subscription Cancellation

a. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

b. Cancellation stops future recurring charges at the end of your current billing cycle.

c. No refunds or credits will be issued for the remaining unused portion of the current billing period, as you retain full access to the Service until the period ends.

2.3 Renewal Reminders

a. We typically send a renewal notification email 15 days before the deduction date. You are responsible for canceling auto-renewal before the billing date if you do not wish to continue.

b. A refund request for the renewal order due to personal reasons such as "I don't know it was renewed" or "I don't need it anymore" will not be accepted.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND REQUESTS

Refunds may be considered, at our sole discretion, only in the following limited scenarios:

Technical Failure

You are unable to access or use a core paid Service due to a sustained technical fault on our side that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time frame. We are committed to resolving such issues promptly, aiming to provide an initial response within 24 hours and a resolution within 72 hours. If the issue cannot be resolved within 7 days, you may be eligible for a full refund. You must have fully cooperated with our support team in troubleshooting by providing detailed problem descriptions and relevant information.

Duplicate Charge

You were accidentally charged twice for the same product or service within a short period; or purchased the same product twice / two products with highly similar functions by mistake.

Annual Plan (Early Cancellation)

For all subscriptions purchased directly through our website, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase, provided you have not substantially used the Service (e.g., consumed a disproportionate amount of AI generation credits), defined as:

• Consumption of more than 20% of monthly allocated AI generation credits; or

• Generation of more than 50 AI outputs (images, videos, text generation); or

• Use of more than 10 hours of video processing time.

Light usage for testing purposes (e.g., fewer than 5 AI generations) does not constitute "substantial use" and will not disqualify your refund request.

Wrong Product (Unused)

You accidentally purchased the wrong product without using it. Please contact us immediately. We offer options for a direct refund or a price difference adjustment, rather than requiring a new purchase first, to minimize inconvenience.

Unreceived Confirmation Email

You do not receive the order confirmation email within 24 hours of purchase, failed to obtain it after contacting our Support Team, and have not received a timely response (within 24 hours) from our Support Team after the contact.

Additional Services Mispurchase

You purchased Extended Download Service (EDS), Registration Backup Service (RBS), Download Insurance Service or other value-added additional services independently outside of the core product purchase, without knowing that such additional services can be removed before payment. Refunds are only applicable to the fees of the additional services, not the core product.

Bundle Purchase Correction

You purchased a product bundle and need to change to a single product within the guarantee period. We will refund the cost of the bundle minus the price of the single product you wish to keep (a "partial refund" or "top-up" option), provided the single product is available on our website. If a partial refund is not technically possible, we will refund the whole bundle after you purchase the correct single product separately from us.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE SCENARIOS

Refunds will NOT be issued under the following circumstances (the list is exhaustive and supplementary to the eligible scenarios):

Simply changing your mind, finding an alternative service, deciding you no longer need the product, or the product's functional suggestions cannot be met (we encourage you to test the product description and try the free trial version before purchase).

Forgotten Cancellation

Not using the subscription sufficiently or forgetting to cancel an auto-renewal (including casual order refusal or request for personal reasons).

System Requirements

Failure to meet the minimum system requirements on your device, or personal equipment/software malfunctioning leading to inability to use the Service.

AI Output Quality

Dissatisfaction with the quality, accuracy, or attribute output of AI-generated content. Results are subjective and part of the creative process; such dissatisfaction does not constitute a reason for refund.

For AI-generated content, refunds are generally not available once the outputs generated have reached immediate consumption of complete resources.

Consumed Credit / Resources

Products sold by credit (e.g., AI generation credits), hours (e.g., speech-to-text processing, AI video rendering hours), or characters (e.g., Text-to-Text, AI converting characters) — once any portion has been used, regardless of whether the subscription is still active; the subscription is expired but the unused credits/hours/characters are not refundable either. Exception: For Credit Packages, if only a portion has been used, we may consider a pro-rata refund (deducting the value of used credits and a small administrative fee) depending on the jurisdiction and specific circumstances.

Digital Consumables

Virtual items such as points, tokens, stickers, templates, filters, transitions, or color palettes are non-refundable once delivered, as they are immediately accessible.

Expired License/Subscription

The license of the purchased product has expired (exceeded the service period); any refund requests for expired subscriptions/licences will not be accepted.

Regional Price Differences

Price differences between different countries or regions do not qualify for refund; refund requests due to regional pricing discrepancies are not accepted.

Partial Bundle Refunds

We cannot issue partial refunds within a bundle due to limitations with third-party payment platforms. However, we will make every effort to accommodate a switch to a single product as described in Section 3 (Bundle Purchase Corrections).

Third-Party Purchases

Product bought from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Microsoft Store, third parties, individual sellers or other third-party platforms. Please contact the platform/seller directly; we do not accept refund requests for such purchases.

Terms of Service Violation

Any violation of our Terms of Service resulting in account suspension or termination; you forfeit any right to a refund in such cases.

Uncooperative Technical Troubleshooting

A refund request due to technical issues, with you refusing to cooperate with our Support Team in troubleshooting (e.g., declining to provide detailed problem descriptions/information, or refusing to try the solutions provided by our team).

Unauthorized Payment

Unauthorized payments made due to stolen card, fraud account, or other non-our reasons; we recommend you contact your card issuer/financial institution directly (we cooperate with an independent payment platform and cannot monitor payment authorization in real time).

Wrong Product with Third-Party Repurchase

You purchased the wrong product from us, and then purchased the correct product from another company/platform (instead of repurchasing from us); refund requests for the original wrong purchase are not accepted.

5. SPECIAL PROVISIONS BY JURISDICTION

We comply with all applicable consumer protection and refund laws in the regions where we provide Services (U.S., EU/EEA, Asia, Oceania, etc.). The following provisions are supplementary to the general rules and shall prevail if there is a conflict with the above clauses.

5.1 European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) Residents

If you are a consumer located in the EU/EEA:

a. 14-Day Withdrawal Right: If you are a consumer located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason, and without incurring any costs, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

b. One-Click Withdrawal Function: In compliance with Directive (EU) 2023/2673, we commit to implementing a standardized "One-Click Withdrawal Button" on our platform as soon as practicable and in any event no later than required by applicable law (currently anticipated by June 19, 2026).

c. How to Withdraw: To exercise this right, you may use the One-Click withdrawal Button in your account under [My Order → Order History], or send an email to us at [support@totalmedia.ai ] with your withdrawal request. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the withdrawal notice before the period expires.

d. Reimbursement: We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal, using the same payment method used for the original transaction (unless you have expressly agreed otherwise); you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

e. Loss of Withdrawal Right for Digital Content:

i By creating an account, making a purchase, and starting to use our Services (e.g., generating AI content, uploading media, using editing tools), you provide your prior express consent for us to begin the performance of the service immediately.

ii You acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once performance has begun with your consent.

iii If you have not started using the Service during the 14-day period, you retain your withdrawal right.

f. Proportional Refund for Digital Service:

Digital Content (e.g., AI-generated images, videos, text outputs): Once performance has begun with your prior express consent (i.e., you generate AI content), you lose your right to withdraw entirely and no refund will be provided, unless the content is defective.

Digital Services (e.g., ongoing subscription access, cloud storage, editing tools): If you have provided prior express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period, you will be eligible for a proportional refund for the unused portion of the service period if the Service is not defective.

g. Consent Confirmation: If this provision applies, we will provide a copy of your consent and acknowledgment on a durable medium upon request.

5.2 United Kingdom (UK) Residents

a. 14-Day Cancellation Right: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days to cancel your purchase for a full refund, without giving any reason.

b. Digital Content Loss: If you access or download digital content / start using the Service during the cancellation period with your express consent, you lose your right to cancel.

c. Subscription Compliance (DMCC Act): For UK residents, we comply with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act:

1. Strong Renewal Reminders: We will provide clear reminders at least 14 days before any subscription renewal, consistent with our global standard and the requirements of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act.

2. Cooling-Off Period: You have a statutory cooling-off period for direct consent.

3. Strong Easy Cancellation: We maintain a straightforward cancellation process without unnecessary barriers. You can cancel your subscription directly through your account settings or by contacting our UK support team.

4. Strong Reimbursement: We will process the full refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice using the original payment method.

5.3 United States (Including All States)

a. State-Specific Rights: California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act; residents of other states may have specific cooling-off periods or consumer protection laws. For California (Section 10 CCR): Specific contact methods for exercising withdrawal rights in regulated states are listed in Section 10 (Contact Us).

b. Subscription Services vs Instant Services: We distinguish between:

• Subscription Service (monthly/annual plan): 30-day money-back guarantee for annual plans if not substantially used (Section 3);

• Instant Service (one-time AI generation, credit packs, immediately consumed digital output): 7-day money-back guarantee (excludes immediate consumption on or after the 7th day).

For the avoidance of doubt, Annual Subscription Plans are not Instant Services and qualify for the 30-day guarantee under Section 3, subject to the "not substantially used" condition.

• No Implied Warranties: To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are limited to the duration of this refund policy.

5.4 Australia and New Zealand

a. Australian Consumer Law: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this policy limits these statutory rights.

b. New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act: Similar protections apply under New Zealand law; we will provide a full refund for any Service that fails to meet the statutory guarantee standards, and process the refund within the time limits required by local law.

5.5 Asia

Under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act, consumers may have specific cancellation rights for online or digital service purchases. Please contact our Japanese customer support team for detailed refund procedures and time limits.

South Korea

Consumers have a 7-day cooling-off period under the Action on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. No reason is required for cancellation within 7 days, and we commit to process the full refund within 3 business days of receiving the request.

For Cancellation Process: We adhere to guidelines from the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) designed to ensure fair trade practices. Our cancellation and refund interfaces are "designer blind", "Dark Patterns", e.g., hidden buttons or unreasonable obstacles; ensuring transparent and accessible processes for all users.

Singapore

The Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act provides protection against unfair practices for digital service subscriptions purchased online.

Hong Kong, China

Comply with the Consumer Council of Hong Kong's relevant guidelines for digital services refunds; provide a full refund for unused Services within the reasonable cooling-off period.

Note: We do not enable market or provide Services to consumers in mainland China. This provision applies only to users accessing our Service from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Other Asian Region

For all other Asian regions (e.g., India, Malaysia, Thailand), we will comply with applicable local consumer protection laws regarding refunds and cancellations; contact our local support team for region-specific rules.

5.6 Other Regions

a. For residents of other regions (e.g., Canada, Switzerland, Latin America, Middle East, Africa), nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable local consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

b. We will process refund requests in accordance with local law requirements (e.g., 10-day cooling-off period in Canada, statutory reimbursement time limits in Switzerland).

6. AI-GENERATED CONTENT AND SERVICES

Because our Services involve real-time AI generation that consumes computational resources, server bandwidth and AI model training costs instantly:

a. No Refunds on Generated Content: Once you submit a prompt and the AI generates output (image, video, text, design, color palette, etc.), the service is rendered. No refunds will be provided, even if you are unsatisfied with the result. For AI-generated content, refunds are generally not available once the output is generated due to immediate consumption of compute resources.

b. Quality Disclaimer: AI-generated content may vary in quality, accuracy, or suitability. Such variations are inherent to AI technology and do not entitle you to a refund.

c. Credit Packs: Purchases of AI generation credit packs are final and non-refundable once any portion of the credits has been used, even if the subscription period has not expired. Unused credits in an expired subscription are also non-refundable (consistent with Section 4 Consumed Credits / Resources). Exception: For Credit Packages, if only a portion has been used, we may consider a pro-rata refund (deducting the value of used credits and a small administrative fee depending on the jurisdiction and specific circumstances.)

d. Misuse: If your use violates our Terms of Service (e.g., generating prohibited content, using AI tools for illegal purposes), you forfeit any right to a refund, and we reserve the right to suspend/terminate your account.

7. PROMOTIONAL AND DISCOUNTED PURCHASES

a. Discounted Products: Sales of products purchased with a discount code, flash sale or during a promotional campaign are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise explicitly stated in the promotional activity rules at the time of purchase.

b. Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable for cash and cannot be redeemed for credits/hours; unused gift card balances are not refundable.

c. Bundle Promotions: Discounted product bundles follow the same refund rules as Section 3 (Bundle Purchase Correction) and Section 4 (Partial Bundle Refunds); no partial refunds are allowed, and full bundle refunds are only available if the bundle is unused and you repurchase the correct product from us.

8. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To submit a refund request for an eligible scenario only (Section 3), you must follow the below procedures within the applicable time frame (30 days for general purchases, 7 days for U.S. instant services, 14 days for EU/UK withdrawal):

8.1 Two Official Request Channels (both available):

a. Channel 1 (Recommended): Submit a refund request through your account: Account Center > My Orders > Order History > Refund (fill in the request form with detailed reasons and supporting materials).

b. Channel 2: Contact Support: Submit a detailed request via our Support Team at support@totalmedia.ai (EU/UK users may also use this email for withdrawal requests).

8.2 Provide Mandatory Details

Include your account email, order/invoice number, the specific reason for the request, and any supporting information or evidence (e.g., screenshots of technical issues, chat records with support team, order confirmation screenshots).

8.3 Review Process

Our team will review your request based on this policy and applicable local law. We will respond to your request within 7-10 business days. Approval is not automatic and is at our sole discretion (unless required by law to issue a refund).

Once a refund is approved and issued, the corresponding license, subscription or service right will be immediately deactivated; you are required to uninstall our software from your devices (desktop/mobile) and delete all AI-generated content associated with the paid service (if required by law).

9. REFUND PROCESSING

a. Processing Time: Refund requests are processed within 5-10 business days of approval; for EU/UK withdrawal requests, we will complete the processing within 14 days as required by law.

b. Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay). Depending on your financial institution/card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account (e.g., up to 10 business days for credit cards, 3-5 business days for digital wallets).

c. Currency: Refunds are made in the same currency as the original transaction; no currency conversion fees will be charged to you for the refund (we bear the conversion cost if applicable).

d. Partial Refunds: Partial refunds are only issued in the following cases (at our discretion): (1) proportional refund for EU/EEA digital services (Section 5.1); (2) refund for mispurchased additional services (Section 3); (3) other scenarios required by applicable local law.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

a. We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, applicable global/local legal requirements, or industry standards. The “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy indicates the latest revision date.

b. We encourage you to review this policy periodically on our official website. For substantial changes (e.g., revision of eligible refund scenarios, change of statutory refund time limits), we will notify you in advance through pop-up notices on our website/app, email alerts or other appropriate means.

c. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised policy, you may stop using our Services and cancel your active subscriptions/orders (in accordance with Section 2.2).

12. GENERAL REFUND RULES

Generally, if your refund request does not meet the eligible conditions set out in Section 3 of this Policy, the fees you have paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated herein or is required by applicable global and local law.

This Policy shall be the sole refund rule for our Services, and any oral or written promises that are not included in this Policy shall be invalid.
